To set the timer on your plug-in lights, hold down the button on the transformer for 3-5 seconds until the light illuminates green. The timer is now activated and the lights will be illuminated for 6 hours and then automatically be turned off for 18 hours.

To deactivate the timer, hold down the button for 3-5 seconds until the green light goes off.
