If your solar light has an on/off switch, this switch needs to be in the “on” position whilst in use.

The internal switching device that’s a tiny light sensor turns off the LED bulb when the sun is out and while the batteries charge. Automatically switching the LED bulb back on at dusk when it’s dark.
